Burial & Four Tet – Moth/Wolf Cub

I was a bit of a latecomer as far as dubstep is concerned. One friend in particular tried to explain to me on numerous occasions just what I was missing – to no avail.
Then came the day when I bought Burial – Untrue. It changed everything. It was, and still is, one of the best albums I’ve ever heard.
Even though the vast majority of dubstep is nothing like Burial, his music demonstrated to me what all the fuss was about and allowed me to appreciate the rest of the genre.
I wrote a review at the time for Twisted Ear. It’s here if you’re interested and explains in far more detail why Untrue is so good.
I’m a little bit late with this latest development from him. Turns out he’s been collaborating with Four Tet, who’s also a bit of a genius. For anyone who’s heard either of these artists, it’s BIG news. For anyone who’s heard both it’s HUGE.
It went on sale yesterday. Predictably, it’s already sold out. Told you I was a bit late on this one. Sorry.
You’ll have to make do with the mp3 previews at Juno. Stream the tracks here.
